The SPB-312 is a high-quality, 100% tested switch mode power supply (SMPS) inductors in our SPB-300 series. Also known as filter inductors, switch mode power inductors have a reputation for being small and light weight which makes them suitable in end products where these factors are key to successful product design.

As the name suggests, filter inductors are often the first choice of design engineers in need of a solution to filter the output waveform signals, within a switching supply circuit. The SPB-312 is a non-shielded inductor built around an epoxy painted ferrite drum core, which ensures stability in terms of inductance. This printed circuit part has a rating of 825µH at 3.4ADC. The SPB-312 may be considered for SMPS frequencies up to 250KHz, depending on the application.

The SPB-312 is designed to accommodate additional securing when required. Use the central through-hole and a non-metallic #4 screw to mount the part to the printed circuit board.
