From welders and microwave ovens, to charging stations for invisible fence collars and sonobuoy power amplifiers fit for the US Navy, switch mode power supply inductors such as the SPB-311 can be found in a wide range of settings and applications. The SPB-311 is part of our bestselling SPB-300 series of switch mode power inductors.
In many cases, switch mode power supply inductors are the ideal choice in many end uses, thanks to their small size and low weight. Also known as filter inductors, they have the ability to filter the output waveform signals of switching supply circuits.
The SPB-311 benefits from a ferrite drum core that has been epoxy painted to protect against deterioration and ensures stability in terms of inductance. The SPb-311 has a rating of 700µH at 3.4ADC, and is suitable for SMPS frequencies of up to 250KHz, depending on the application.
The SPB-311 is designed for dependability and has been 100% tested by our expert team. It is also made with convenience in mind, with a central through-hole to mount and secure the inductor to the printed circuit board using a non-metallic #4 screw, if required.
The SPB-311 is built to the following dimensions:
- Core Diameter: 0.955” / 24.26 mm
- Core Height of 0.975” / 24.77 mm
- Radial leads center-to-center dimension: 0.775 inches / 19.69 mm
- Radial leads extending 0.6875” / 17.46 mm to 0.8125” / 20.64 mm.
- Leads tinned to within 0.063” / 1.6 mm from core exit.
