Prem Introduces Its Newest 70.7V Line Matching Audio
Output Transformer For Distributed Sound Systems

A new chassis mount line-matching transformer developed for commercial distributed sound systems has been
introduced by Prem Magnetics, Inc. Designated the SPLM-200, this new part is developed for 70.7V line to
multiple output impedances of 4.0, 8.0, and 16.0 Ohms at power levels of 32.0, 16.0, and 8.0 Watts. 

Commonly used in commercial distributed sound systems, this transformer offers excellent performance. Having an
Insertion Loss rating of 0.6dB at 1KHz, the SPLM-200 offers a good Frequency Response of ±3.0dB from 50Hz to
15KHz. With a Total Harmonic Distortion  (THD) rating of 2.0% typical at rated power and 100Hz, the part offers
very good sound quality. The isolation rating is 1,500 Vac from primary to secondary to core.

The SPLM-200 has solder tabs for connecting the inputs and outputs, and “L” brackets for ease of mounting within
an enclosure or onto a mounting plane. Typical dimensions for the SPLM-200 are 3.125” (79.37mm) Length x 3.063”
(77.8mm) Width x 3.75” (95.25mm) Height. Weight for this part is approximately 4.8 lbs (2.177Kg).

All Prem standard transformers are 100% final tested for open circuit voltage (turns ratio), polarity (phasing),
