Prem Introduces Its Newest 70.7V Line Matching Audio
Output Transformer For Distributed Sound Systems

A new chassis mount line-matching transformer developed for commercial distributed sound systems has been
introduced by Prem Magnetics, Inc. Designated the SPLM-101, this new part is developed for 70.7V line to 8 Ohm
speaker applications at power levels of 8.0, 4.0, 2.0, 1.0, and 0.5Watts. 

Commonly used in commercial distributed sound systems, this transformer offers excellent performance. Having an
Insertion Loss rating of 1.0dB at 1KHz, the SPLM-101 offers a good Frequency Response of ±3.0dB from 50Hz to
15KHz. With a Total Harmonic Distortion  (THD) rating of 2.0% typical at rated power and 100Hz, the part offers
very good sound quality. The isolation rating is 1,500 Vac from primary to secondary to core.

The SPLM-101 has 0.113” (2.87mm) solder tabs for connecting the inputs and output, and a channel frame bracket
for ease of mounting within an enclosure or onto a mounting plane. Dimensions for the SPLM-101 are 3.250”
(82.55mm) Length x 2.235” (56.77mm) Width x 1.985” (50.42mm) Height. Weight for this part is approximately 14.8
oz (420 grams).

All Prem standard transformers are 100% final tested for open circuit voltage (turns ratio), polarity (phasing),
